My Current Fave Music

(who knows if this will be a thing but it's a thing now)

I love music and love discovering new artists. I don't actually sing or play an instrument, okay that's a lie, I did play the violin not too long ago but I dropped it going into highschool. I decided on the bus ride home, surrounded by immature boys who think making sex noises is hilarious, that I would list my current favorite songs. I'll make a playlist on my 8tracks and leave the link somewhere. 

Passion Pit- Lifted Up (1985)

any song by this artist will make you want to dance and put you in a good mood 

Mumford and Sons- The Wolf

this band takes a different approach from their usual folk sound for their newest single, it's like their spin off the killers which sounds crazy but either way this song is 'killer' 😉

Cold War Kids- Hang Me Up to Dry

this song is like from 2003 but it's got a really nice beat

Left Alone-Flume

I had discovered this song like a year ago but re-discovered if when I saw an amazing movie (sisterhood of the night)

Running with the Wolves- AURORA

This song reminds me of a Forest, that's all I gotta say about this one.

Purity Ring (newest album)

Anything by them is amazing, the lead singers voice is so ethereal and all the songs are so different but kinda the same.

Cigarette Daydreams- Cage the Elephant

If a Coppola movie can be somehow put into a song, this would be it. It reminded me of 'The Virgin Suicides.'

Running Behind- Holychild

This song is so kitschy not going to lie but in the best way possible.

You already know my name because it's somewhere on the screen already. I'll start this by saying (or typing) that never in my life have I stuck with something. I've never been consistent with anything but I'm determined to keep this going for as long as possible. Even if no one reads this, it will still be fun to look back on in a couple of years. 

Now you're probably wondering what this is all about.......

Ever since I was 9, I would draw out designs of many dresses that I wanted to make. I started out wanting to design clothes but currently I'd like to have a career in the fashion industry that has to do with the business side of fashion. Then around 11 years old, I started watching a lot of youtubers like Jenn Im (clothesencounters), Bunny Myer (grav3yardgirl), and so many more. Watching them made me even more interested into fashion. Also, very interested in doing something like that, making videos on youtube. Long story short, didn't happen. Then I started watching a youtuber by the name Lauren Rose (curbsidefashion) who had a blog. I started reading and found it so interesting at how much you can learn from a person without meeting them face to face. Sadly, she stopped making videos but I still follow her blog. Anyways, I decided at 9:50 p.m., I would stop making excuses on doing something that I've wanted to pursue since I was 11 (currently 15 years old). I want this to be a place where I can spill my thoughts but also show off my fashion and other things I'm interested in and would love to discuss with others.
